Steve Burdett
Gallery Director, Interior Design
Steve has been a studio furniture maker for nearly 30 years, designing and creating exquisite heirloom pieces. His love of woodworking grew out of his early life in theater arts, where he participated in the construction of complex sets and props. “I found that I loved the organic physicality of working with wood.” During his second career as an art dealer he studied the history of art, furniture making and interior design, which led to his pursuing design and fine woodworking as a full-time profession after moving to New Hampshire in the early 1980s. Steve has a powerful sense of the relationship of each design element to the whole, and is known for producing aesthetically well balanced sculptural furniture and interior spaces.

Luigi Bartolomeo
Architect
Luigi is the son of a Chicago architect and began working for his father at an early age. He quickly became proficient at hand-drafting and while still in high school he began to sculpt, honed his skills and eye, and went on to attend Rice University in Houston to study architecture. After a period of sculpting in Boston, he moved to New Hampshire, earned his architectural license and launched his own professional practice in 1984. As an early adopter of AutoCAD, he seamlessly transitioned from hand-drafting to become a master of AutoCAD technology. His strong background in creative structural engineering produces a seamless integration of design and structure. Luigi also brings a highly evolved artistic maturity and power to his work, as expressed in the distinguished lakefront and mountainside residences that have been his hallmark.
